MTS announces new IELTS Training Country Manager for Vietnam

MTS is delighted to announce that it has recruited Gem Nguyen* as MTS’s IELTS Training Country Manager for Vietnam.

Responding to a high demand for IELTS preparation courses for students taking the IELTS exam in their native Vietnam, MTS has worked with Gem to adapt and offer its successful IELTS Preparation Masterclass Courses to students in Vietnam. The courses are all online, and delivered live via Zoom videolink to MTS’s highly qualified British teachers, all English native speakers, based in the UK.

Class sizes never go higher than 15 students per class, so students have the best experience and learn from their teacher and each other. Class timings will be scheduled to suit the Vietnamese market, with class start times of 6.30pm.

Gem is an influential figure in the Vietnamese and Singaporean English language teaching sector. She is an experienced educator with more than 13 years in the ESL (English as a Second Language) field as a teacher and trainer, winning many awards along the way.

Gem is a highly experienced TESOL mentor, teacher trainer, content writer and voice-over artist. Her company, HEW Online, is a success in its own right, offering carefully curated TESOL and teacher training courses as well as ESL lessons to learners around the globe.

Gem has also developed and pioneered her own innovative “Teaching English Grammar Using Mind-Maps” method, now widely in use amongst ESL teachers, especially in Vietnam.

MTS will be advertising the online IELTS course dates on a specialist Vietnam area of its website later in February, for Vietnamese learners wanting to start the lunar new year tackling those all-important IELTS goals!
