ACCA On-Demand FAQs

  • What ID should I bring on exam day?

You must bring a current, valid, government-issued form of photo ID that contains your legal name, as registered with ACCA, or you will not be allowed to sit your exam.

Acceptable forms of photo ID include, but are not limited to:

    • valid (signed) passport
    • valid (signed) national identity (ID) card
    • valid European Economic Area (EEA) member state ID card
    • full or provisional UK/EU photocard driving licence or Blue Badge
    • residency permit issued by the Home Office
    • valid CitizenCard (accompanied by a credit/debit card as proof of signature)
    • identity card bearing the Proof of Age Standards Scheme hologram (a PASS card)
    • local travel cards or other government issued documents

If your registered name is different to that on the ID document, you must present a marriage or deed poll certificate.

If you don't have one of these forms of ID, please get in touch with MTS on exams@mtsglobal.uk.com to see what arrangements can be made.

  • When will I get my results?

Your results will be displayed immediately after you complete the exam. Upon completion, the final percentage score is calculated and displayed on screen.

You will receive a printed copy of your Provisional Result Notification on the day.

The results will then be transferred to your MyACCA account within 72 hours.

  • What if I need additional support for my exam?

Requests for access arrangements will be considered. This requires reasonable adjustments to be made where a disabled person or a person who has suffered accidental injury or acute illness would be at a disadvantage otherwise.

You must make your request for additional support at least three weeks in advance of your exam date. Requests should be submitted, along with the required supporting documentary medical evidence via the additional support portal on MyACCA. For more information on additional support, check the ACCA website.

  • Are there any practice tests available?

ACCA Practice Tests are available via the ACCA Learning platform. Use your MyACCA login details to purchase and access via ACCA Learning.

As well as giving you an insight into a live exam experience, Practice Tests will also provide feedback on your performance. Once you complete the test you will receive a personalised feedback diagram showing how you have performed across the different areas of the syllabus.

Practice Tests can be purchased and accessed via MyACCA. You will be able to buy a single test or you can purchase a set of three tests for the same exam.

  • What if I am late for the exam or can't make it because of an emergency?

ACCA describes these situations as "mitigating circumstances". Unfortunately, mitigating circumstances requests cannot be made for ACCA On-Demand exams. These exams are highly flexible, so if you plan to take an On-Demand ACCA exam and are affected by personal circumstances, you should re-schedule the exam to a more convenient time.

If you are late for your ACCA On-Demand exam, you cannot claim mitigating circumstances and you will lose your exam fee.
