On Tuesday 9 June 2026, a group of MTS staff completed a 10km walk through the heart of Central London as part of a charity fundraising event. It was an opportunity to come together as a team, support an important cause, and reflect on the values that shape who we are as an organisation.
Walking in support of IPSEA
The MTS team was proud to take part in the London Legal Walk in support of IPSEA (Independent Provider of Special Education Advice), a charity that works tirelessly to help children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) access the education, support and opportunities they are entitled to.
As a company working within the education and examinations sector, this is a cause that resonates deeply with us. Education has the power to change lives, and organisations such as IPSEA play a vital role in ensuring that children and families can navigate often complex systems and receive the support they need.
Building a culture of shared purpose
Our participation in the walk also reflects something broader that we are striving to build at MTS. We believe that a strong workplace culture extends beyond day-to-day responsibilities. It is about creating an environment where people feel connected to a shared purpose, where colleagues support one another, and where we use our collective efforts to make a positive contribution to the communities around us.
Taking part in the London Legal Walk was a small but meaningful step towards that vision. It brought colleagues together outside of the workplace, united by a common goal and a desire to support an organisation making a genuine difference to people’s lives.
Thank you to everyone who supported us
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who took part in the walk, as well as to those who donated, shared our fundraising page, offered words of encouragement, or supported us in any way. Every contribution helped us support an important cause and made the day all the more meaningful. A fantastic total of over £1,000 was raised that will go directly to IPSEA.
At MTS, we believe that great organisations are built by people who care. Care about the work they do, about one another, and about the wider community. Thank you once again to everyone who supported us and helped make the day such a success. We are incredibly grateful, and we look forward to continuing to support initiatives that create positive impact both within and beyond the world of education.
