MTS now offers CELPIP (Canadian English language) exams from its London venue

MTS is proud to announce that we have started offering CELPIP (Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program) exams aimed at a significant volume of people emigrating from the UK to Canada. The CELPIP Tests are officially accepted by several governments (including the Canadian government for emigration purposes) as well as professional organisations, colleges, universities, and employers in Canada. The Canadian government is welcoming emigrants to the country in large numbers to fill key employment gaps created from a growing economy and a retiring workforce, and has committed to see 500,000 new people emigrating and settling in Canada every year until the year 2026.

What is CELPIP?
The Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) is a general English language proficiency test.
The CELPIP Test allows test takers to demonstrate their ability to function in English. The test clearly, accurately, and precisely assesses a test taker’s English abilities in a variety of everyday situations, such as communicating with colleagues in the workplace, interacting with friends, understanding news broadcasts, and interpreting and responding to written materials. There are two types of CELPIP test: the CELPIP General (which tests all 4 skills) and takes about 3 hours, and CELPIP LS (which only tests listening skills) and last about one hour.
Computer-delivered
The CELPIP test is done in just one sitting, on a computer, and includes features such as a personal timer, word counter, and spell-check.
Only North American accents
CELPIP listening tests only use Canadian and easy-to-understand USA English accents and vocabulary taken from everyday North American situations.
Quick online results
CELPIP test results are available online within 3-4 business days after the test date.

There are lots of free CELPIP sample tests, videos, online information sessions, preparation courses, and webinars, available on the CELPIP website.
MTS’s is offering CELPIP exams at our attractive West London venue at 65 Westcroft Square, W6 0TA. We are in Zone 2 London, just two Tube stops from Hammersmith station. The first date for offering CELPIP exams is Thursday 28 March. Book now via the CELPIP website as demand is high!
UPDATE: We are now offering CELPIP exams at our Birmingham venue at City Gate House, 25 Moat Lane, B5 5BD. The first date for the CELPIP exam in Birmingham is 11 April.
