MTS brings IELTS testing back to Bradford (Saltaire)

We're thrilled to share that MTS has resumed IELTS testing in Bradford, partnering with the forward-thinking Surpass team to deliver IELTS on Computer at a stunning new location: Salts Mill, Saltaire (Bradford). Nestled in a UNESCO World Heritage village, the purpose-built exam centre in this historic mill is everything you’d want for your exam; bright, calm, professional, and yes, a little inspiring.

Mark your calendars! Our launch date is Thursday 7 August 2025, and it's just the beginning. From then on, we’ll be offering regular computer-based IELTS test dates right here in Bradford. Did you know that Salts Mill was once the largest textile mill in the world? Designed in 1851 by Sir Titus Salt, the mill near Bradford produced cloth on an industrial scale and formed the heart of the revolutionary model village of Saltaire.

Today, the monumental space has been re-imagined as a dynamic centre for culture and business, home to art galleries, shops, cafés, even tech firms. And now, to top it off, a sleek, professional exam suite designed for IELTS with the latest computer-based testing tech, courtesy of our friends at Surpass Assessment.
