MTS pioneers new Remote Proctoring service

A remote proctoring (also known as digital invigilation) approach allows students to take a test from home while ensuring the integrity of the exam by using the latest digital video facilities to monitor them.

Remote proctoring enables educational institutions to conduct assessments when students are not able to attend traditional examination halls because of safety or other practical concerns.

It can often be a less expensive and a more environmentally friendly way to run exams, as students and institutions do not incur as many venue and travel costs.

It is also more flexible and convenient as exams can be scheduled for any time, on any day of the week.

MTS has been implementing this new method of exam invigilation with a number of global exam partners in the latter part of 2020, successfully proctoring thousands of exam students sitting high-stakes exams in multiple global locations.
